Vidyut Jammwal’s Street Fighter Hollywood Debut Shooting Starts, Plays Dhalsim.

Guess who’s making waves in Hollywood? None other than action star Vidyut Jammwal! He’s officially joined the cast of ‘Street Fighter,’ bringing the iconic video game to life. Cameras are already rolling for this exciting new project.

Paramount Pictures, Legendary Entertainment, and Capcom shared the exciting news. They revealed the full lineup on the movie’s official Instagram page just last Friday. This announcement included the confirmation of Vidyut Jammwal among the celebrated cast.

Vidyut’s Role as Dhalsim

Vidyut, known for his amazing martial arts skills, will play Dhalsim. This makes him the only Indian character in the ‘Street Fighter’ universe. Dhalsim is a yogi who can breathe fire! He’s usually a peaceful person, focused on his family. This role marks Vidyut Jammwal’s big Hollywood debut. You can catch him on the big screen when the film hits theaters on October 16, 2026.

The production team posted a fun message online. They wrote, “Reigns in the arena don’t last very long. ‘Street Fighter’ shooting has begun. The tournament has begun!”

Before this, Vidyut has wowed audiences in action films like ‘Commando’ and ‘Khuda Haafiz.’ He last appeared in the 2024 film ‘Crakk.’ While that movie didn’t quite hit the mark, he remains a standout for his incredible action sequences.
