There was an interesting conversation between American judge Frank Caprio and a Pakistani couple, the video of which is going viral on social media.
According to the report of a foreign news agency, recently, a Pakistani-American citizen, Jawad Amarlat, appeared in Frank Caprio’s court for parking wrongly, where he also presented Caprio with a Chitrali cap as a gift after hearing the fine.
During the hearing, the judge asked Jawad Ammar, “Have you received a parking ticket?”
To which Jawad said: ‘Yes, because my wife did not know where to park the car, so she parked the car in a prohibited place.’
At the answer, Judge Caprio smiled and said: ‘Did you appear in court this morning to impeach your wife?’ After that, they also called Jawad’s wife to the court.
What followed was an interesting conversation between the couple from Pakistan and judge Frank Caprio, discussing parking in a restricted area and life in Providence.
Later, the honorable judge ended the proceedings and imposed a fine of $65 on the couple, after which the citizen of Pakistani origin asked Frank Caprio for permission, “Can we take a picture with you?”
The honorable judge happily allowed the photo to be taken, before the couple presented Caprio with a Chitrali hat as a gift.
