ANKARA: A Russian tourist converted to Islam in Istanbul’s historical mosque Aya Sofia, the video of which went viral on social media.
A video of a Russian tourist entering the circle of Islam after reciting the word of martyrdom in the Aya Sofia Mosque has been shared by the Turkish media on the social media website Twitter.
In the video, the Russian tourist who came for the purpose of tourism can be seen believing in the oneness of Allah and the final messenger of the Holy Prophet after reading the word.
The caption of the video states that the Islamic name of the Russian tourist who entered the circle of Islam has been given as ‘Ahmed Diniz’.

Sabah Ahmed Diniz Siro came to Sofia for the purpose of tourism when Imam was teaching Sahih Bukhari in the mosque.
Russian tourist Ahmed has said that I came here for the purpose of sightseeing, but when I came here and heard the teachings, I felt the desire to accept Islam. I accepted Islam after being influenced by Islamic teachings.
