The 2024 edition of the CSI4* A Coruña concluded with the Casas Novas Grand Prix, a challenging test that showcased the skills of the world’s top equestrian athletes. The event was won by Luxembourger Victor Bettendorf and his mare, "Foxy de la Roque".
A Complicated Test
The Casas Novas Grand Prix was a tough test, with obstacles 1’60 meters tall and a prize purse of €105,500. The course was designed by head of competition, Javier Trenor, and featured triple Longines background-vertical and an end line with a delicate backboard on the double combination.
A Strong Performance
Diego Ramos Maneiro, a young rider from Coruña, made a strong impression in the first round, completing the course without penalties. He rode "Delighted C’SG" to finish with zero points, and his confidence grew as he entered the second round. Ramos Maneiro held his own against experienced competitors, including Olympic riders, to finish second in the provisional classification.
