Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava Horse Controversy Exposed

The recent release of Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s film “Chhaava” has sparked a frenzy at the box office, with collection records indicating a tremendous success. However, a disparity has been noticed between the online booking status and the actual turnout in theaters. While online bookings show houseful signs, the theaters themselves seem to be devoid of audiences. Nevertheless, the numbers suggest that the film is performing well financially. But what’s catching everyone’s attention now is a clip from an interview with Vicky Kaushal, which is leaving viewers stunned.

In this clip, Vicky shares an anecdote from the film’s shooting, where he recounts his experience with a horse named Azaad. He says, “I still remember when we were about to take a shot, I told Azaad, ‘Brother, we’ve been preparing for six months, now it’s time, please keep your honor intact. Just run, I’m with you, I won’t fall.'” Vicky further explains that he assured Azaad, “I’ll just hold on, you run. And I told him, ‘If I fall, 100 horses will run over me, they won’t be able to brake, they’ll just keep going.'” This lighthearted moment showcases the camaraderie between Vicky and the horse.

However, what’s raising eyebrows is the revelation that the horse used in the scene was, in fact, a fake one. In the same video, the crew is seen pushing the mechanical horse along a track, making it look incredibly realistic. This has led to a flurry of reactions from netizens, with many exclaiming, “Vicky got caught red-handed!” Some have praised his acting skills, while others have expressed disappointment.

On the other hand, some users have come to Vicky’s defense, pointing out that not every shot can be taken with real horses, and that film production involves a mix of real and automated elements. One user noted, “There were real horses on set as well; these automated horses are used for close-up scenes. You can tell which ones are real and which are animated in the movie.” Others have suggested that Ranbir Kapoor’s fans might be behind the criticism, unnecessarily targeting Vicky.

Meanwhile, the film’s collection has been impressive, with “Chhaava” grossing over 519.8 crores domestically and 705.30 crores worldwide. The film is yet to touch the 100-crore mark overseas but has managed to collect around 85 crores in 24 days. As the film continues to perform well at the box office, the debate surrounding the use of fake horses in the movie has added a new layer of intrigue to the conversation.
