Sam Bahadur was one of the greatest soldiers in the country, about whose life this film is going to be made. Apart from Vicky Kaushal, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra will also be seen in the film. While Sanya will be seen in the role of Sillu Manekshaw, wife of General Manekshaw, Fatima Shaikh will be seen playing the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
Manekshaw was the Chief of Staff of the Indian Army during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 and was the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of Field Marshal.
