Tamil composer MC Sabesh has passed away. He was 68 years old.
Sabesh died on Thursday afternoon, leaving a significant mark on Tamil cinema. He was celebrated for his contributions as both a composer and a singer.
Much of his work was a collaborative effort with his elder brother, composer Murali. The duo enriched Tamil cinema with numerous memorable songs.
Sabesh began his career in the late 1990s, guided by Murali. Together, they scored several notable films. These include ‘Goripalayam’, ‘Milaga’, and ‘Thavamai Thavamirundhu’.
Beyond composing, Sabesh also lent his voice to many songs, particularly those created by his brother. His family continues to uphold his legacy in the film industry.
His son, Karthik Sabesh, and nephew, Jey, are both actors. Additionally, his nephew Sreekanth Deva and Murali’s son, Bobo Shashi, are established composers.
