Australia’s Upcoming Tour of Sri Lanka
Australia’s cricket team is set to tour Sri Lanka after their recent victory against India in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The tour will feature a 2-match Test series, which will serve as a warm-up for the team before the World Test Championship final. Having secured their spot in the WTC final, Australia will face South Africa at Lord’s from June 11 to 15.
Before the Sri Lanka tour, Australia has announced a 16-member squad, with Steve Smith leading the team in the absence of Pat Cummins, who is on paternity leave. Cummins is expecting his second child, and Cricket Australia has approved his leave.
