Veteran actor Dharmendra’s hospitalization has led to the cancellation of multiple upcoming entertainment events. This includes a major album launch and a web series screening.
Dharmendra is currently admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. His family previously had to issue clarifications to dispel rumors about his health. Fans are wishing for his swift recovery.
The album launch event for Aanand L. Rai’s film ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ was slated for today, November 11, in Delhi. Preparations were complete for the high-profile gathering.
The cancellation was also influenced by recent incidents in Delhi. Organizers cited both Dharmendra’s health and the Delhi events.
The film’s makers issued a statement regarding the cancellation. “Given the concerning health situation of veteran actor Dharmendra ji, we have decided to cancel today’s event. We are grateful for your cooperation,” the statement read.
The event was expected to feature music director A.R. Rahman and actors Kriti Sanon and Dhanush. Director Aanand L. Rai and producer Bhushan Kumar were also scheduled to attend.
‘Tere Ishq Mein’ is directed by Aanand L. Rai. The film is scheduled for release in cinemas on November 28. Its teaser and two songs have already generated significant buzz.
Separately, the screening for the upcoming web series ‘Delhi Crime 3’ has also been canceled. This decision was similarly attributed to Dharmendra’s health and the Delhi incidents.
Actress Huma Qureshi, part of the series, confirmed the cancellation. She stated, “Given the tragic incident in Delhi and Dharmendra’s health, we have canceled today’s screening. We wanted to celebrate together, but at such a time, we must exercise some restraint.”
‘Delhi Crime 3’ is set to begin streaming from November 13. Qureshi expressed hope that viewers would still watch and support the series.
