Whatever the reaction they arouse, the films Venom of sony have the ambition to be the cornerstone of a project that is here to stay. Having already released the first film Venom in 2018, followed by Let There Be Carnage in 2021, the franchise carried by Tom Hardy has its share of fans, but also a large contingent of detractors. Many still wonder about its raison d’être, arguing the lack of logic of a film Venom without Spider-Man’s involvement.
Tom Hardy took the lead in the Marvel Universe from Sony Pictures. He was also the producer of the second opus. Both films were highly profitable for Sony, so it began development on a third.

It was confirmed that the actor received a salary of $7 million for his first appearance in the skin of the symbiote.
As it concerns Venom: Let There Be Carnage, its financial return was not disclosed, but it can be assumed that it was higher than that perceived for the first film. It would seem that Venom 3 wants to be more ambitious, at least in terms of salary (this is the scenario we are still hoping for…). According variety, Tom Hardy will win $20 million for his role in the film. This high price could also be linked to the fact that he is once again a producer of the film.
