Venca launches a new collection of proximity and sustainable garments

Venca, the Marketplace with its own collection aimed at all women, is committed to proximity production with the creation of a new collection of garments made in Spain and Portugal, created from existing fabrics. A launch that responds to Venca’s strategy in its commitment to promote the reconstruction of the country’s economic fabric during the pandemic, and to reduce the environmental impact of its activity.

In this sense, the new capsule of 46 garments, which joins Venca’s autumn-winter catalog, is largely made in workshops in Madrid, Barcelona and Portugal, with some garments from workshops in Morocco. A fact that has led to the creation of new jobs in these areas, in addition to accelerating supply.

Another noteworthy aspect of this new proximity collection is that as it is made from existing fabrics, it has resulted in a reduction in the generation of textile waste during its production, with the consequent reduction in the environmental impact of this activity. All of this while maintaining superior quality and attractive prices.

In the words of Jordi González, Managing Director of Venca: “The production of this new proximity collection is undoubtedly a step forward for Venca in our attempt to contribute to rebuilding the sector, hard hit by the pandemic, and in our goal as a textile company to be increasingly sustainable and respectful of the environment. environment”.
