The State of Mexico has announced the dates for the vehicle verification program 2025, a measure aimed at promoting air quality in the region. The program will be organized by sticker color and last digit of the car license plate.
Dates for Vehicle Verification in Edomex
The first calendar of the semester of 2025 is as follows:
- Yellow sticker (5 or 6): January and February
- Pink sticker (7 or 8): February and March
- Red sticker (3 or 4): March and April
- Green sticker (1 or 2): April and May
- Blue sticker (9 or 0): May and June
Prices for Vehicle Verification 2025
The cost of vehicle verification varies depending on the hologram given to the car. The prices are as follows:
- Hologram 00: 10 UMA (approximately 1086 pesos in 2024)
- Hologram 0: 5 UMA (approximately 543 pesos in 2024)
- Holograms 1 and 2: 4 UMA (approximately 434 pesos in 2024)
Requirements for Vehicle Verification
To do your vehicle verification, you must present the following mandatory requirements:
- Official identification
- Circulation card
- Proof of the last verification or payment of a fine in case of non-compliance
- Invoice (in the case of new vehicles, which must be verified within a period of 30 calendar days from the invoice date)
- In CDMX, it is mandatory to schedule an appointment on the citaverificentros.cdmx.gob.mx portal
Why is Vehicle Verification Important?
The vehicle verification program aims to reduce pollution emissions into the environment by controlling the vehicles that circulate through the state. Exemptions from Vehicle Verification
