VeChain has announced a new partnership with crypto payment service, Alchemy Pay. As a result, you can now use your VET tokens to buy stuff in 2 million stores in 70 different countries. The news came just after it came out that VeChain will be supported on the recently launched Binance Bridge 2.0.

These new announcements will greatly increase the usability of the VeChain network and its VET token.

An eventful week for VeChain

VeChain is thus included in the first group of tokens supported on the new Binance Bridge 2.0. The Binance Bridge 2.0 provides a new way to bridge Ethereum tokens for use on the BNB Chain, formerly known as the Binance Smart Chain. The other tokens supported are SAND, APE, JASMY, MANA, PEOPLE, MBL, LOOKS, and ELON.

And if it wasn’t enough, VeChain also announced on Thursday that it has joined the Blockchain Infrastructure Alliance. This is an organization that connects crypto experts and provides funding for blockchain-related research projects. Sunny Lu, the CEO of VeChain, said the following:

“By partnering with this group of leading blockchains, we can develop understanding and mutually support each other to improve the industry as a whole.”

– Sunny Luc

The price had little or no response to the important announcements. The 1 VET token is worth approximately $0.0515 at the time of writing. The token has been in a bearish trend for a month now. Despite that, investors have regained some hope after VeChain’s major announcements this week.
