The investigation was carried out by divers from the Maritime Gendarmerie on Wednesday morning, according to information from Var Morning. “The vehicle that was pulled out of the water around noon allowed the removal of five bodies. There were four men and a girl ”, declared the Draguignan prosecutor. Investigations are still ongoing.

He could act from the bodies of a group of young people, aged 19 to 21, whose disappearances had been reported to the police station by their parents the day before. A friend of the group confirmed to police that they were going out for the night by the lake and said she has not heard from them since. As the geolocation of the telephones had not given anything, the gendarmes began to search the body of water.
