In 2022 it will continue at the foot of the canyon. Jakob Fuglsang will not defend a title.

The layout of this edition will offer seven heights along its demanding 239 kilometers: the Madonna del Ghisallo, Roncola, Berbenno, Dossena, Zambla Alta, Passo di Ganda and Colle Aperto, this last climb three km from the finish line in Bergamo. The Colle Aperto, just over a kilometer at 7.9%, has ramps above 10% and cobbled sections in the medieval upper town. Good wickers. It only remains for the cyclists to put the clasp.
