VALORANT: Verno Extends MIBR Contract Through 2026

Brazilian esports organization MIBR is reportedly solidifying its 2026 VALORANT roster, with Andrew “Verno” Maust expected to renew his contract amidst other significant player acquisitions.

Verno has reportedly reached an agreement to continue with the club, a development reported on Sunday by journalist Fernando Schwabe. This potential renewal is a key part of MIBR’s efforts to build a competitive lineup for the upcoming season.

If the rumors are confirmed, MIBR’s 2026 roster would feature Andrew “Verno” Maust, Erick “aspas” Santos, Roberto “Mazino” Rivas, and Zachary “zekken” Patrone. Only one additional player would then be needed to complete the team.

Erick “aspas” Santos is said to have opted to remain with MIBR, despite interest from several global institutions, including teams in the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) China and other VCT Americas regions.

Rumors also suggest that Roberto “Mazino” Rivas, currently with KRÜ Esports, and Zachary “zekken” Patrone, from Sentinels, are set to join the Brazilian organization.

Verno has been part of MIBR since March 2025. Before joining MIBR, he played for Oxygen Academy/Esports and NRG.

During his tenure with MIBR, Verno competed in major events. These included the VCT Americas league, the Américas Qualifier for the Esports World Cup, VALORANT Masters Toronto 2025, and VALORANT Champions 2025.

At the VALORANT Champions 2025 tournament, MIBR finished in 5th-6th place. The team was eliminated after a 2-1 loss in a best-of-three series against DRX.
