VALORANT VCT Americas: Brazilian Teams Face Elimination Pressure in High-Stakes Matches

Brazil’s VALORANT teams, FURIA and LOUD, recently faced tough matches in the VCT Americas tournament. FURIA was eliminated after losing to Cloud9 2-0, with the first map, Lótus, going into overtime and ending 16-14 in favor of Cloud9. The second map, Pearl, was a one-sided 13-1 win for Cloud9.

Despite the loss, FURIA will play MIBR on April 18 at 9 PM Brasília time.

LOUD’s Tough Match Against Sentinels

LOUD faced Sentinels and initially struggled, losing the first map, Split, 13-10. However, they rebounded on the second map, Lótus, winning 13-10. The deciding map, Haven, didn’t go their way, with Sentinels winning 13-5.

Lucca “lukxo” Travioli had a standout performance for LOUD, but it wasn’t enough to secure a win. For LOUD to stay in the tournament, they’ll need KRÜ Esports to beat Evil Geniuses 2-0, Sentinels to beat 100 Thieves 2-0, and then LOUD to beat Evil Geniuses.
