The competitive VALORANT scene never truly sleeps. Even during the quieter “offseason,” players and fans crave action. That’s where events like the Tixinha and Sacy Invitational, or TSI, step in. This brand-new tournament kicked off this past Friday, providing a welcome jolt of energy while the main VCT Americas series takes a break.
The brains behind this quick-fire competition are two big names in the VALORANT community: Guilherme “Tixinhadois” Cheida and Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi. They put together this special event to keep top-tier play front and center. It features four well-known teams from the VCT circuit: 2Game Esports, FURIA, KRÜ Esports, and Leviatán. The whole thing wraps up quickly, finishing this Sunday, June 6th.
The tournament began with a group stage where every team played each other once. If teams ended up with the same win-loss record, their head-to-head match decided who ranked higher. This setup made sure one team earned the top spot for the playoffs.
Here’s how the teams stacked up after the first day:

FURIA truly dominated the group stage, finishing with a perfect 3-0 record. They secured the top seed for the next round. 2Game Esports followed closely with a 2-1 record, while KRÜ Esports ended up with one win and two losses. Unfortunately, Leviatán couldn’t find a win, going 0-3 in the group matches.
The opening day’s matches were a clear display of skill. Here are the results from Friday:

2Game Esports defeated Leviatán in their opening match, followed by a strong showing from FURIA against KRÜ Esports. FURIA then continued their winning streak by beating Leviatán. To round out the day, 2Game Esports secured another victory over KRÜ Esports.
The TSI tournament continues this Saturday, June 5th, with the much-anticipated playoff stage, starting at 6 PM Brasília time. These matches will be best-of-three, meaning teams need to win two games to advance. The first playoff matchup pits 2Game Esports against KRÜ Esports. After that, FURIA will take on Leviatán. The winners from these two intense battles will then face off in the grand final, scheduled for Sunday, June 6th. Fans are eager to see which team will claim the TSI title.
