VALORANT: Sentinels Confirm Exit of Masters Madrid Champion Zekken

Sentinels, a prominent VALORANT esports organization, is undergoing a significant roster shake-up following the departure of star player Zachary “zekken” Patrone, who was instrumental in their VALORANT Masters Madrid 2024 victory.

The organization confirmed Patrone’s exit on November 1, 2025, after he spent three years with the team. His departure marks a notable shift for the championship-winning roster.

Sentinels acknowledged Patrone’s contributions in a post on X, formerly Twitter, stating, “You set the bar for what it means to be a Sentinel. There will always be a key to the city for you @zekkenVAL.”

Patrone’s exit follows other recent significant departures from the Sentinels’ VALORANT lineup. Jordan “Zellsis” Montemurro and Sean “bang” Bezerra also recently left the club.

Patrone achieved his career highlight with Sentinels, securing the VALORANT Masters Madrid 2024 title. He competed alongside Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi, Tyson “TenZ” Ngo, Amine “johnqt” Ouarid, and Jordan “Zellsis” Montemurro in that championship run.

In his own statement on X, Patrone expressed gratitude for his time. He wrote, “Thank you Sentinels for everything these past three years. Competing and winning for this organization was a dream come true.” He added that he would never forget the memories and was grateful for “SEN City” support.

Speculation has emerged regarding Patrone’s next team, with rumors linking him to MIBR for the 2026 season. Reports suggest Roberto “Mazino” Rivas could also join MIBR.

If confirmed, a potential MIBR lineup for 2026 includes Andrew “Verno” Maust, Erick “aspas” Santos, Roberto “Mazino” Rivas, and Zachary “zekken” Patrone.

Additionally, Erick “aspas” Santos, another highly sought-after player, reportedly chose to remain in Brazil. This decision came despite interest from organizations across various regions, including the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) China and Americas.

Before his tenure with Sentinels, Patrone played for several other teams. These included Wichita Wolves, Phoenix1, Noble, and XSET.
