VALORANT: Most Sought-After Aspas Commits to MIBR Through 2026

Brazilian VALORANT superstar Erick “aspas” Santos has reportedly agreed to extend his contract with Made In Brazil (MIBR) through 2026, choosing to remain with his current team despite being the most sought-after player in the recent offseason.

The verbal agreement was reported by Sheep Esports late last week, marking a significant development in the competitive VALORANT landscape. Aspas will complete one year with MIBR in November.

Organizations from premier circuits, including the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) in China and the Americas, showed considerable interest in securing the 22-year-old’s services. He was identified as the most highly requested professional player during the offseason.

Aspas is a decorated athlete in the esports title. He previously played for teams such as SLICK and Leviatán.

He achieved his most notable success with LOUD, where he won the VALORANT Champions 2022. During that victory, Aspas was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the grand final.

MIBR recently competed in VALORANT Champions 2025. The team, which included Eduardo “xenom” Soeiro, Andrew “Verno” Maust, Arthur “artzin” Araujo, Gabriel “cortezia” Cortez, and Santos, finished in 5th/6th place.

Their elimination came after a 2-1 loss in a best-of-three series against DRX.
