VALORANT: MIBR Qualifies for Worlds, Coach Demands Evolution in 18 Days

Brazilian VALORANT team MIBR is racing against an 18-day deadline to resolve internal inconsistencies despite recently securing a spot in the global Game Changers Championship.

Coach Marcelo “pleets” Leite identified the team’s own performance fluctuations as their primary hurdle after their victory in the Game Changers Americas Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ). Leite stated that the “biggest challenge we faced was basically ourselves,” citing a persistent “inconsistency” the team still battles.

The coach emphasized the urgency of the situation, noting the team has just “18 days to fix” these issues before the championship. He explained that MIBR executed trained strategies effectively in many rounds but “failed in others,” leading to an erratic performance.

MIBR secured its place in the global tournament by defeating Wadadaa 3-1 in the LCQ final on Sunday, June 2. The Game Changers Championship (GCC) will take place in Seoul, South Korea.

MIBR’s first opponent in the championship has been confirmed as GIANTX. Another contender, Team Liquid Visa (TLV), will begin its campaign against KRÜ Esports.
