VALORANT: dgzin Reportedly Returns to Tier 1 with Evil Geniuses in 2026

Speculation is mounting that Brazilian VALORANT professional Douglas “dgzin” Silva is nearing a verbal agreement to join the Evil Geniuses roster for the 2026 VALORANT Champions Tour Americas season.

The rumor, initially reported by leaker AkamaruVal on X, formerly Twitter, suggests a significant overhaul for the North American organization. Evil Geniuses is reportedly looking to rebuild its roster, potentially retaining only Phat “supamen” Le for the upcoming year.

If confirmed, the speculated lineup for 2025/2026 would include Corbin “C0M” Lee, Bao “bao” Nguyen, Anthony “okeanos” Nguyen, Douglas “dgzin” Silva, and Phat “supamen” Le.

Silva currently plays for Team Solid (TSS). His potential move would mark a return to the Tier 1 franchised league, having previously competed with LOUD between November 2024 and May 2025. His career includes stints with several other prominent organizations, including B4 Esports, Stars Horizon, Gamelanders Blue, FURIA, Hero Base, and DIRETORIA.

Team Solid, with Silva, recently competed in the VCT Ascension Americas tournament. The team was eliminated during the final phases of the competition.

VCT Ascension Americas serves as a pathway for one Tier 2 team to gain promotion into the VCT Americas league annually. In the recent grand final, ENVY defeated TSM 3-1. Following that tournament, TSM announced the disbandment of its VALORANT roster.
