Valencia and Girona, dissatisfied with the treatment of Teledeporte

The second game of the Endesa League semifinals between Valencia and Spar Girona, which was played this Thursday at La Fonteta and which ended with qualification for the taronjas final, was to be broadcast on Teledeporte as was the case with the first. Nevertheless, the duel was not finally given live by the RTVE thematic chain and it was only broadcast through the Play platform. The reason, the Madrid Tennis Open occupied the time slot of the game, despite the fact that basketball had been announced days in advance.

For this reason, both Valencia and Girona published a statement in which they express “your discontent for not betting on the full broadcast of the Endesa Women’s League semifinal second leg, leaving the Play platform as the only option to follow the match”.

“Both clubs consider that in the case of a game of such importance, and an hour of play (7:00 p.m.) also fixed theoretically to facilitate its retransmissionit cannot be justified that another event was chosen instead, even more so when the second match of the other event hadn’t even started yet, which is even a lack of respect. Both clubs will continue to put forth their maximum effort so that the competition and these types of matches have the visibility they deserve”, closes the note from both teams.
