USA: Jamal Khashoggi murder case against Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman dismissed

The American judge dismissed the murder case of journalist Jamal Khashoggi against Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

According to European media, on Tuesday, December 6, a judge in the United States rejected the lawsuit filed by Khadija Genghis, the fiancee of the slain journalist Jamal Khashoggi, against the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman.

According to the report, US District Judge John Bates says that the Saudi crown prince has immunity in the Jamal Khashoggi case despite credible allegations, “My hands are tied by recent recommendations from the Biden administration.”

It should be remembered that Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi was killed in the Saudi embassy in Turkey in 2018 and the murder case of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi was challenged in court by his fiancee.

The British media says that after the Jamal Khashoggi case is dismissed, the Saudi Crown Prince will now be able to go to America freely.

The spokesperson of the US Department of State said that just as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was protected from legal proceedings in the US, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has also been granted immunity.
