US President signs Gun Control Bill

Washington: President Joe Biden has signed a gun control bill after approval from the US Senate.

According to a report by a foreign news agency, the US Senate has approved the Gun Control Bill, which is the most important legislation on arms control in three decades.

234 members of Congress voted in favor of the bill and 193 against.

The bill would scrutinize the identities of people under the age of 21 who want to buy weapons, while allocating 15 15 billion for improving school security and youth mental health programs.

Similarly, US states will be asked to ensure that laws are enacted to disarm those considered a threat.

Under the law, people who have been convicted of domestic violence will not be allowed to buy weapons.

It should be noted that the number of shooting deaths in the United States this year has exceeded 21,000.
