US president announces continued aid to Ukraine until Russia’s defeat

US President Joe Biden has announced that he will continue to support Ukraine until Russia loses the war.

Addressing a NATO summit in the Spanish capital, Madrid, President Joe Biden announced his continued support for Ukraine indefinitely, saying the United States would continue to support Ukraine unless it was convinced. Let it be that it has defeated Russia.

Biden said his administration would soon provide an additional 800 800 million in security assistance to Ukraine to counter the Russian attack.

He said the new US aid would include advanced air defense systems, counter-battery radar and additional ammunition for high-mobility artillery rocket systems.

The president said his administration would formally release details of the security assistance in the coming days.

At the meeting, NATO announced that aid to Ukraine would continue and co-operation would be maintained.
