WASHINGTON: US President Joe Biden was furious when asked about inflation, a video of which went viral on social media.
According to a report by a foreign news agency, at the end of a press conference in Washington, the journalist asked the US President whether the increase in inflation would cause a political burden in the mid-term elections.
At the same time, Joe Biden realized that the microphone had been turned off and he quietly called the journalist an idiot and uttered obscene words that were not heard by anyone at the time.
However, later when the recording of the press conference was heard and the video clips went viral, the rumor spread.
On this the President said sarcastically that no it is a huge asset, there will be more inflation and at the same time insulted the journalist.
The transcript released by the White House also contains insults to the US President.
