US officials decide on booster dose

WASHINGTON: The US Federal Drug Administration has suggested that boro shots of the corona vaccine should not be given to all US citizens, but to the elderly and the sick.

According to US media, the Federal Drug Authority has decided not to give booster shots to all US citizens while deciding on booster shots of corona vaccine.

Elderly and sick people can be given booster shots, FDA experts say.

Experts did not vote for booster shots for people 16 and older. The Center for Disease Control will hold a consultative meeting next week on the FDA’s voting results.

The World Health Organization (WHO) says current figures do not indicate that a booster dose of Code 19 is required.

World Health Organization (WHO) chief Ted Ross has called for a halt to the use of the Cod 19 vaccine booster by the end of September.

He said the move was aimed at making it possible for 10 per cent of the population in each country to complete vaccinations and eliminate inequalities in vaccine distribution between rich and poor countries by stopping booster doses.
