US announces continued drone strikes in Afghanistan

Washington: The United States has announced that it will continue drone strikes against ISIS in Afghanistan.

According to a report of a foreign news agency, US President Joe Biden has said that drone strikes against ISIS and Khorasan will continue in Afghanistan. Last night, the operation against ISIS was not the last.

“We will continue to search for those involved in the heinous attack in Kabul. Whenever anyone tries to attack our troops, we will respond,” he said.

“There is still a threat of terrorist attacks on Kabul airport. My commanders have warned that there is a possibility of an attack in the next 24 to 36 hours,” he said.

“Despite the dire situation, the evacuation of civilians continues. Yesterday we evacuated another 6,800 people, including hundreds of Americans,” Biden said.

It should be noted that foreign media has reported heavy firing near Kabul Airport again today. The firing and shelling spread chaos near the entrance of Kabul Airport.

It may be recalled that the death toll in the blasts at Kabul Airport has risen to 170. The United States carried out a drone strike in Afghanistan in response to the suicide bombings. According to the US Central Command, a member of ISIS Khorasan was killed in the attack in Nangarhar. The dead ISIS member was involved in planning attacks on the United States.
