The Santo Domingo Oeste Prosecutor’s Office arrested this Tuesday the urban exponent Steven Diloné Serrata, alias Dilon Babyaccused of domestic violence for assaulting his mother.
Diloné Serrata, who was arrested when he was preparing to sing in a discotheque in Baní, in the province of Peravia, will be brought before the courts in the next few hours and will be asked to impose measure of coercion consisting of pretrial detention.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office indicated that a legal process has been underway for the urban exponent since May 20 of this year, after his mother, Carolina Serrata García, filed a lawsuit against him for showing up at his home accompanied by two women. to attack her and her grandmother (grandmother of the defendant).
Dilon Baby faces charges for alleged violation of articles 309-3, numeral E, of the Dominican Penal Code, modified by Law 24-97, on Gender and Intrafamily Violence.
After his arrest, he was taken to the Comprehensive Care Unit for Gender Violence in Santo Domingo Oeste, where he is waiting for the measure of coercion to be known.
