Universal Music announced the signing of the exclusive global editorial agreement with urban music artist Calacote. who is the first artist signed by the multi-award winning Dominican producer, singer-songwriter and businessman, Maffio at his Alkatraks Music Group record label.
At just 22 years old, he composes and sings in Spanish, French and English. Through the new agreement with UMPG, you will have the opportunity to collaborate and compose in all three languages with artists signed with the publisher globally.
Calacote captured the attention of the music industry and fans with the singles “Azafata” alongside Maffio and “Bruja” alongside Dominican star, Kiko el Crazy.
His new single, “Intercambio”, with the collaboration of Akapellah and Jessy Terrero, premieres next Friday, January 14, the new song fuses French and Spanish with its unique flow.
