The Government of Indian Punjab has announced to provide free electricity up to 300 units.
Indian media Reports According to him, up to 300 units of electricity will be provided free of cost in Indian Punjab and the government will bear the burden of Rs 1800 crore every month.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has said that his government is fulfilling the promise made to the people of the state and now the people of Punjab will get huge relief in electricity bills.
He said that previous governments used to make promises but five years of their rule would pass but they do not fulfill their promises.
He said that Aam Aadmi Party had fulfilled its promise made to the people during the elections and the people of Punjab would now get huge relief in electricity bills.
The Chief Minister said that he would significantly reduce the expenditure of the government and increase the tax net.
