Unzué’s motivating message to the Kosner cyclists – Saltoki Home for the Titan Desert

The Kosner – Saltoki Home team will face the next edition of the Titan Desert in Morocco with even more motivation after committing to a solidarity goal that will make every kilometer count in the fight against ALS.

Former soccer player Juan Carlos Unzué, who fights against ALS and that before suffering from this disease he managed to complete several MTB events, such as the 2013 Absa Cape Epic as a couple with the former Spanish soccer coach Luis Enrique Martínez, has announced this charitable initiative through a motivational video. “I am going to be part of that great adventure that you have decided to carry out with the Kosner – Saltoki Home team in the next Titan Desert. How? Look, the team has decided to donate, through the Luzón Foundation in the fight against ALS, one euro for every kilometer that each and every one of the team members travel in this test”.

A campaign that, as Unzué relates, will serve to give more visibility to research and the fight against this disease. “With your effort and your donation you are going to help us promote ALS research, make the disease visible and monitor and, obviously, empower the ALS community.”

Unzué also points out that his message can serve as motivation for the Kosner – Saltoki cyclists when they find themselves in a difficult moment during the race. “I wish and hope that when a moment of difficulty arrives, a moment of extreme fatigue that will surely appear, this will serve as an extra motivation to keep going, not to give up and meet and finish your goal.”
