Oslo: In the European country of Norway, a gunman attacked and killed five people, Norwegian police arrested the attacker.
According to the details, a terrorist incident took place in Norway, in which a man armed with a bow and arrow attacked the civilians, as a result of which five people were killed and several others were injured.
The bomber struck shortly after noon in the southeastern Norwegian town of Kingsburg. Norwegian police have arrested the attacker, a Danish national.
Police said that the attacker targeted civilians in several places. The element of terrorism in the incident could not be ignored but the motives of the incident could not be ascertained immediately.
Authorities added that the detainee had not been questioned, so it was too early to say what motivated him.
