According to a report by a foreign news agency, a senior Taliban leader says that curtains or boards are acceptable between boys and girls in the classroom, at a time when Afghanistan has limited resources and a shortage of manpower.

The Taliban said on Twitter that the Islamic Emirate had invited Pakistan, Turkey, Qatar, Russia, China and Iran to attend the inauguration of the new government.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov says Russia will attend the Afghan government’s swearing-in ceremony and support the Taliban government, but only if all factions are formed.
