UniversalPay becomes the payment service provider of the SILBON firm

UniversalPayentity specialized in payment solutions for businesses, has signed an agreement with Silbon to be the provider of the payment, processing and acquisition gateway for the company from Cordoba. An agreement that comes in full expansion of the company that has just opened three new stores in Barcelona, ​​Granada and Madrid, with which it already has 41 physical stores.

UniversalPay is the only company in Spain that has its own payment processor and has all the necessary services to offer companies integrated solutions. With this agreement, it expands its portfolio of clients in the retail sector who are looking for ease and security in payments. An agreement that also includes the processing of 100% of the acquisition in the transactions of the brand’s establishments.

One of the safest services and one that offers greater control to customers, by UniversalPay, is its solution ‘ClearOne’. According to the company’s Vice President of Business in Spain, Javier Jover, “thanks to this integrated payment service, SILBON will have absolute control and access to all transactions carried out, as well as maximum security against fraud.” On the other hand, he has highlighted that “this solution allows to automate the accounting system, the operations and the daily management of the business, so that the teams can dedicate more time to other tasks”.

For his part, the CEO and co-founder of Silbon, Pablo López, has pointed out, “this agreement will allow us to continue growing and promoting our commitment to the digitization of our stores with the aim of providing the best service to our customers”. The Silbon manager hopes that “thanks to the UniversalPay solution we will eliminate errors at the cash register and save employees time, since it is done automatically”. In addition, with this technological service “we can streamline bureaucratic procedures by managing all these services with a single provider”.

A growing company

SILBON has an online store that offers international service and 40 physical points of sale with a presence in the main capitals of Spain, including: Madrid, Seville, Malaga, Valencia, Zaragoza, Salamanca and Oviedo. Corners in the El Corte Inglés shopping centers in Alicante, Valladolid, Jaén, Murcia and a boutique in Paris.

Silbon, which was born in córdoba in 2009 with an initial investment of 3,000 thousand euros, closed 2021 with a gross turnover of 18 million euros and points to a total turnover of 25 million euros for the current year. A company with more than 180 employees with physical offices in Madrid, Córdoba and a virtual management office in the Horizon metaverse.

Directed by its CEO and co-founder Pablo López, Silbon continues to open the market with new lines and sales and diversify with new openings of physical stores throughout the Spanish geography. Currently, The Silbon network is made up of twenty-six own stores, twelve corners in El Corte Inglés and three establishments in outlet format.

Similarly, Silbon is consolidated as a pioneering retail leader in digitization and technology, reinforcing the operation of its e-commerce, one of the company’s growth focuses, which currently accounts for 26% of total sales and positioning itself as the leading Andalusian fashion brand. to brand new virtual store in the Decentraland metaverse.

Internationalization is also part of the Andalusian company’s plans.
