United States: First Lady Jill Biden tested positive for Covid-19

US First Lady Jill Biden has tested positive for Covid-19 and suffers from “mild symptoms”, announced Tuesday August 16 the White House. The president’s wife “began to develop cold-like symptoms” Monday evening, and a PCR test came back positive, detailed its communications director, Elizabeth Alexander.

Jill Biden, 71, to receive Paxlovid antiviral treatment and self-isolate “at least five days” in South Carolina, where she was on vacation with her husband, Joe Biden, said elizabeth Alexander.
