United States Announces Deployment of Troops to Afghanistan

Washington – The United States announced that it will send 3,000 soldiers to Afghanistan to withdraw its diplomats.

According to the details, the president of the United States, Joe Biden, signed an order to send troops. 3,000 soldiers will assist in the evacuation of diplomats from Afghanistan.

Army personnel will also assist in the evacuation of British citizens from Afghanistan. Military personnel will arrive at Kabul airport in 24 to 48 hours.

Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said the new mission was purely temporary and for a specific purpose, adding that the dispatch of 3,000 troops would not affect the August 31 withdrawal decision.
