Captain Teague Wylie and Aiden Cahill’s unbeaten century helped Australia beat Scotland by seven wickets in an Under-19 World Cup Group D match. After being invited to bat first, Scotland scored 236 in eight with strong innings from Charlie Tear (54), Thomas Mackintosh (54) and Oliver Davidson (33).

For Australia, Cahill and William Salzman each took two wickets. Australia in response recorded their second win by scoring 240 from three in 39.3 overs.

Wylie posted an unbeaten 101 in 115 balls with the help of eight fours and two sixes. Wylie got the team off to a strong start with Campbell Callaway (47) adding 101 runs for the first wicket.

He added 98 runs for second wicket with Cahill. Cahill played a blistering 72 innings of 45 balls that included seven fours and four sixes.
