Kuwait: The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has introduced an electronic platform to facilitate religious tourism, thanks to which the time for applying for an Umrah visa has been reduced to just 10 minutes.
In this regard, the platform called “Zamzam.com” was presented to the tourists and experts from the Gulf countries and the Arab region during the Arab Travel Market held in Dubai.
Omar Siraj Akbar, CEO of the platform in Dubai, said that the Saudi Ministry of Tourism had formally approved Zamzam.com to become one of the leading tourism destination management companies in the country.
Talking to the media, he said that our platform has completed the Umrah arrangements in less than 10 minutes, reducing the length of time for visitors to obtain Umrah visas in their countries. You have to apply in person.
He added that the website “Zamzam.com” has become the first Umrah travel platform to export visas to visitors from all over the world, which will significantly increase the number of visitors to the country.
