Umrah pilgrims are instructed not to bring large amounts of money and valuables

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah instructed to avoid bringing many things to Saudi Arabia while coming from abroad to perform Umrah rituals.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has also advised Umrah pilgrims to take necessary precautions to avoid financial fraud.

The ministry has recommended that those coming to Saudi Arabia for Umrah should not bring more than 60,000 riyals, and should also avoid bringing gold, precious stones, precious metals and other valuable items with them.

Saudi Arabia has asked incoming visitors to be careful in downloading banking apps, do not give out bank card information to anyone, and avoid transferring money under any circumstances from unknown sources.

Visitors are also advised to check the electronic links before making any payment.

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has said that there is a need to ignore unknown messages and links, immediately notify the bank and competent authorities when fraud is suspected or committed.
