UK: Antibody cocktail approved for corona treatment

London – The UK has approved the use of antibody cocktails to treat corona infections.

According to the details, British health authorities approved on Friday an antibody cocktail developed by Regineron and Roche to prevent and treat coronary infections, which will soon be used in patients.

The health regulatory agency (MHRA) said the drug Ronapreve could help prevent coronary infections, eliminate severe symptoms of Covid 19 and reduce the chances of hospitalization.

British Health Minister Sajid Javed said in a statement that this treatment cocktail would be a significant addition to our “weapons” to fight the epidemic.

According to authorities, Ronaprev can be administered by injection or drip, a drug that protects against coronavirus within the respiratory system, preventing it from reaching the cells of the respiratory system.

Ronaprio belongs to this class of drugs, called monoclonal antibodies, which mimic natural antibodies that fight infection. Authorities have made it clear that the drug will never be used as an alternative to vaccination.

Last month, Japan was the first country to approve the drug Ronapriyo for the treatment of corona infections.
