UCAM Murcia Renews Todorovic for Project Support

UCAM Murcia, the current runner-up in the Endesa League and winner of the bronze medal in the FIBA Champions League, has announced that Montenegrin international center Marko Todorovic will remain with the team for another season. Todorovic, 32, has signed a new contract valid until June 2025 with the option of an additional campaign.

The university entity made the announcement on Saturday, fulfilling one of its planning purposes for the next course. The team, led by coach Sito Alonso, will be looking to build on its historic season, which ended with a league final loss to Real Madrid.

Todorovic joined UCAM Murcia in December 2023, replacing injured Swedish player Simon Birgander. He quickly adapted to the team and became a key player, helping the team qualify for the playoffs and the European bronze medal.

In the Endesa League, Todorovic averaged 9.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 11.4 efficiency in 20 games. Internationally, he averaged 13.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and a 15.8 rating in 11 games.

The 2.10-meter tall center has a rich experience in the Spanish league, having played for teams like Joventut from Badalona, Barcelona, Bilbao Basket, and Real Betis. However, he missed part of the season due to an injury, inflammation in the Achilles tendon, which prevented him from competing in the qualifying rounds for the title.
