Ubisoft and Ivory Tower are set to test The Crew 2’s offline mode for the first time on April 30. This test is limited to a select group of players who have been active in the community. The offline mode is still in development, and some multiplayer features won’t be available.
Better Than Nothing
The decision to create an offline mode came after backlash from players when The Crew was shut down. Ubisoft realized that players were unhappy about being unable to play a game they had paid for. The company hopes to avoid similar issues with The Crew 2 in the future.
The offline mode will allow players to continue enjoying the game even when the servers are eventually shut down. Ubisoft plans to roll out the offline mode for The Crew 2 this year. They also intend to create an offline mode for The Crew Motorfest.
