UAE: The use of artificial intelligence to increase rainfall

Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning and Bioscopic Nano to alleviate water scarcity and increase rainfall in UAE Materials will be used.

According to a foreign website, the announcement was made at a special event held at the UAE Re-Research Program for Rain Enhancement Science Expo 2020 in Dubai.

The program will offer a ڈالر 1.5 million grant over 3 years for each of the research proposals to increase rainfall, which will be provided at 5 5.5 million per year.

Dr. Bradley Baker, Principal Investigator at SPEC INC, received the grant for his research proposal entitled “Increasing Rainfall in the UAE Using Bioscopic Nanomaterials” to determine Whether the effects of nanomaterial seeding agents and electric charge generators will trigger secondary ice processes that could potentially increase rainfall.

A new artificial intelligence framework will be developed to combine satellite observations, ground-based weather radar data, rain gauges and numerical weather forecast estimates.

According to the Gulf website, the program received a total of 81 applications from 378 scientists and researchers from 159 institutions in 37 countries on five continents.

UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Presidential Affairs Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan said in this regard that we are confident that through cooperation and collective efforts we will be able to find out the ultimate causes of ground destruction. Ideas really play a role in improving water security locally, regionally and globally.

Dr. Abdullah Al-Mandous, Director of the NCM and also President of the Regional Association of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), said: It will provide a solid scientific basis for developing promising solutions to water pressure challenges.
