UAE decides to buy fighter jets from China

Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates has decided to buy a dozen L-15 aircraft from China to strengthen its national defense.

Of Arab media Reports According to the report, the UAE has changed its defense policy after the attacks of Houthi rebels and is buying modern weapons and military equipment. In this context, it has decided to buy 12 L-15 aircraft from China immediately.

The United Arab Emirates plans to buy 36 more fighter jets from China after receiving a dozen shipments of L-15s.

The UAE Ministry of Defense said it intends to sign an agreement with China National Aero Technology Import and Export Corporation to purchase and train L-15 aircraft.

A statement from the UAE Ministry of Defense said the purchase of the aircraft was part of an effort to diversify the oil-rich Gulf state’s arms suppliers.
