Two men, Andy “N” and Geovanni “N,” have been linked to the murder of Argentine actor and singer Fede Dorcaz. They have been processed for intentional homicide in Mexico City. Both suspects will remain in preventive detention while a two-month complementary investigation proceeds, according to Infobae.
The arrests were made during separate operations. Authorities seized firearms and cell phones believed to be connected to the case.
Fede Dorcaz was killed on October 9, 2025, in the Miguel Hidalgo borough of Mexico City. He was intercepted by several individuals on motorcycles who opened fire on him.
Initial police investigations quickly ruled out robbery as the motive. Dorcaz’s belongings and vehicle were found intact at the scene.
The Mexico City Attorney General’s Office currently has multiple lines of investigation open. They are collaborating with the Secretariat of Citizen Security. Surveillance videos and ballistic reports are central to clarifying the mechanics of the murder.
Authorities stress that the processed individuals are considered innocent until a definitive court sentence is issued. This upholds legal principles throughout the proceedings.
Dorcaz’s remains have since been repatriated to his native Argentina. His parents traveled to Mexico to attend the funeral and manage the repatriation process.
Early hypotheses regarding Dorcaz’s death included a potential robbery. However, surveillance footage, shared by journalist Carlos Jiménez and reported by Infobae, suggested the attack may have been direct.
Dorcaz’s publicist, Otto Rojas, revealed a significant detail to Univision’s program ‘Siéntese Quien Pueda.’ Rojas stated Dorcaz had recorded and shared a video of a robbery in Polanco, a Mexico City neighborhood, days before his murder. The video was removed from his social media shortly after posting.
Program presenter Carolina Sandoval speculated on air that “enemies” who learned of the video might have confronted Dorcaz, leading to his tragic death.
Mariana Ávila, Dorcaz’s girlfriend and a Venezuelan influencer, maintains a different account. She posted on X that he died in a robbery. She stated the assailants fled without taking items because “everything got out of hand.”

She asserted he was driving home alone after they had been together, speaking on the phone. She stated he was never involved in illicit activities.

She also recounted discovering his death. Ávila tried to reach Dorcaz for two and a half hours, only for a Mexican police officer to answer her call.
Ávila affectionately described Dorcaz as a loving, charismatic individual. She called him a good son, boyfriend, and “the love of my life.” Their relationship began in January 2024.
Both Dorcaz and Ávila were slated to participate as a dance couple on the program ‘Las Estrellas Bailan Hoy.’ Andrea Rodríguez, the producer, confirmed that Ávila has since been withdrawn from the competition.
