Two Latin Grammy Nominees Jay Wheeler Releases New Track “Biol-101”

Puerto Rican urban artist Jay Wheeler, recently nominated for two Latin Grammys for Best Urban Song and Best Reggaeton Performance for his success with Myke Towers, "Curiosity", released his new single and music video this Friday, "Biol-101".

"I’m very excited for everyone to hear this song. We really wanted to do something different this time, especially after setting the mood with ‘Take My Life’ and continuing to push the boundaries of reggaeton."Wheeler said in a press release.

With "Biol-101", Jay Wheeler explores new rhythms, adding influences in the genres of house and EDM to the traditional bass of reggaeton, creating a catchy fusion for listening at home or dancing in the clubs, the statement highlights.

"Biol-101" is Wheeler’s fifth single this year, after "Watching the ceiling", "February love", "Two drinks" and "Take my life" with Tyla Yaweh.

The music video of "Biol-101" was directed by Webster Torres and shows Wheeler with a beautiful girl in a car and a performance accompanied by two different settings that become very intimate.

Wheeler is one of the most prominent Latin artists of the moment, with more than 1,000 million reproductions and multiplatinum albums in the United States and Spain.

Recently his single "Watching the ceiling" reached # 1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay and Latin Rhythmic charts, having won the award "New Male Generation" at the Premios Juventud, positioning himself as one of the most requested Latino artists of this generation.

Wheeler already has two albums produced by Puerto Rican DJ Nelson, "Platonic" (2019) and "Platonists" (2020).
