Team India
Before the World Cup, Team India will play a three-match ODI series against Australia. This series starts on October 22nd. BCCI has announced the team for this series. We would like to inform you that a separate team has been selected for the first two ODI matches in which many star players are not included. In the third ODI, only the team participating in the World Cup will enter the field, in which two more players have been included in addition to the return of all players.
The young brigade will be captained by Rahul
Let us tell you that the first two matches will feature a young team led by KL Rahul. Rahul recently made a great comeback in the Asia Cup after recovering from his injury. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav, on the other hand, were rested in the first two games. Ravindra Jadeja was chosen as the vice-captain for the first two ODIs. Additionally, young players like Shubman Gill, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ishan Kishan have also got a place in the team. Shreyas Iyer is also fit to take part in this series. In addition, R. Ashwin has a place in the team again after 21 months. If Akshar Patel is not fit, Ashwin can also get a place in the World Cup team.
The third game will be played by the World Cup team
In the third, i.e. final, ODI game of this series, only the World Cup team will get the chance to play. But Ashwin and Washington Sundar were also included in the team. In such a situation, it will be special to see how these players perform before the World Cup. Akshar Patel’s game, on the other hand, will depend on whether he is fit or not. Akshar was recently injured in the Super 4 match of the Asia Cup. But BCCI chairman Ajit Agarkar said that this player can fit in this series.
