Twitch Hacked: Salaries of Auronplay, Ibai, Rubius, TheGrefg and More Stars Revealed

An anonymous hacker claims to have leaked the source code and the Twitch database, including payment information to creators.

The user posted a link to a 125GB torrent file on 4chan, stating that the leak is intentional “Promote more disruption and competition in the online video streaming space” Why “Your community is a disgusting toxic cesspool.”

An anonymous source at the company confirmed in the middle VGC that the leaked data is legitimate, including the source code of the streaming platform.

According to the source, Twitch is aware of the breach and believes the data was obtained on Monday.

O leaked data from Twitch supposedly include:

  • Twitch source code
  • History of comments “dating from its beginnings”
  • Breeder Payment Reports from 2019 onwards
  • Twitch clients for mobile, desktop and console
  • AWS proprietary SDKs and built-in services used by Twitch
  • All other properties belonging to Twitch, including IGDB and CurseForge
  • A competitor to Steam, codenamed Steam, from Amazon Game Studios
  • Built-in Twitch Tools

Some users have started analyzing the 125GB of leaked information, with one claiming that the torrent also includes encrypted passwords and advising users to turn on two-factor authentication for security.

The leaked documents show what popular streamers like Auronplay ($3 million), Ibai (2.3 million), Rubius (1.8 million) or TheGrefg (1.3 million) have earned since 2019.

It also indicates what these stars earned in September and, in this case, Ibai tops the list for Spaniards with $164,827 a month.

At the moment, Twitch hasn’t commented on this leak, so let’s hope he makes a statement.
